“Esmelia Sniff”
Posted in Children's books. on June 25, 2009 by colinstimpsonEsmelia Sniff, star of the witches’ recipe book “How to Cook Children”, recently purchased a computer in order to write her own blog (or bog as she puts it). As fate has it she was almost immediately offered a three book deal so she is now too busy to write down her daily twitters. Esmelia and her author friend Martin Howard are now hard at work on the series of novels. She has already completed the first story entitled “Witches at War – The Wickedest Witch”, it’s due out in October 2009. The story follows Sam, Esmelia’s young apprentice as she trains to become a fully fledged witch. It’s both funny and charming and I recommend it 100%!
“Sheepish”

Sheepish was a movie being developed by Starz animation in 2006. I enjoyed doing some visual development on it for a short time before it was put on hold. Here are some of my sketches that illustrate the simple graphic style they were heading towards.
